About the Event
Learn how to make a reversible tote bag! This class will cover cutting out fabric, using a sewing machine, and all the steps needed to make a tote bag.
All materials (and an instructional zine to take home!) will be provided, but here's a materials list if you'd prefer to pick up your own!:
-Two panels of 39" wide x 19" tall fabric
-These can be the same or different fabrics, and is equivalent to 5/8 yd of each or 1.25 yds total
-1.5 yds of 1"-2" webbing for the shoulder straps. Get 2 yds if you want the tote bag to hang lower

Space:
Summit Selvage is located on the corner of 12th Ave and Pike St in Capitol Hill, Seattle. The entrance door will be propped open on the 12th Ave side. The space is down the stairs and the last door on your left. The basement is shared with dance studios, and has unisex bathrooms on the third floor. Parking is a big challenge, but luckily we're 1 block from the 2, 12, and 11 bus stops, as well as .5 miles from the lightrail station.
